The “magic” inside the Tilt Switch is a conductive metal ball. When the switch is tilted, the ball rolls and touches the contacts that close the circuit. For a fun trick, try using it to turn on a buzzer: Place an object against the Cube (the cookie jar, maybe?). Now, when the object is moved or lifted, the circuit is tipped, sounding an alarm!
